Meet Medal Contenders In Tokyo Olympic From India, Manu Bhaker, And Saurabh Chaudhary!

The Tokyo Olympics is now at a stone’s throw. Let’s meet those Olympians who are representing India in the Olympics and are major contenders for Winning the medal. Today, we are talking about Teenage Indian Smoking guns who are representing India in the shooting and especially in the mixed team 10m air pistol event, Manu Bhaker, and Saurabh Chaudhary.

Manu Bhaker

World ranking: 2nd (10m air pistol), 7th (25m pistol) (As of March 26, 2021)

Achievements:

  • Manu has won gold medals in the individual and mixed category in the World Cup Final of 2019.
  • She has won six gold medals, one silver, and a bronze in the period 2018-21.
  • The little champ has also won the gold medal in the commonwealth games of 2018.
  • She has two gold medals in Asian Championships. 
  • In the Youth Olympics of 2018, she won gold in the individual category and silver in the mixed category.
  • In the Junior World Cup of 2018, Bhaker won four medals with three gold and one silver. 

Saurabh Chaudhary

Birth Place: Meerut, Uttar Pradesh

Sport/Event(s): Shooting (10m air pistol & mixed team 10m air pistol)

World ranking: 2nd (10m air pistol)

Debut: 2018

Achievements:

  • Saurabh has won the gold medal in the Asian games of 2018.
  • The little champ has won eight gold medals, two silver medals, and a bronze during the World Cup even of duration 2019-21.
  • In the Asian championships of 2019, he won two silver medals.
  • He has a gold medal in the individual category in the Youth Olympics held in 2018.
  • The player has won a gold medal in the individual category, silver in the team category, and a bronze in the mixed team category at Junior World Championships held in 2018.
  • In Junior World Cup held in 2018, he has won three gold medals.
