Rishabh Pant Will Lead Delhi Capitals For 2021 Season!

Clearing all the rumors, Delhi Capital management, and coach Ricky Ponting have appointed Rishabh Pant as the captain of the franchise for the upcoming season of the Indian Premier League. Delhi’s regular captain Shreyas Iyer has been ruled out of the tournament due to an elbow injury. There were many names in the team to replace Iyer as captain.

It was thought that senior players like Ajinkya Rahane or Shikhar Dhawan will get the opportunity to lead the team but Ponting and the management have shown the belief in young explosive wicket-keeper batsman.

Rishabh took to Twitter to thank the management for giving him the opportunity, he shared an official video where he expressed his gratitude. He said in the video that Delhi Capitals will surely cross the line this year.
