Indian Premier League 2021: Players Have Started Arriving UAE For The Second Phase Of IPL 2021!
Amid all the controversies the second phase of the Indian Premier League is due to start on the 19th of September. All the teams have already reached UAE and have joined the respective camps. Few Indian players are joining late as they were busy in the test series between India and England. But now as the 5th test match is postponed, players are joining their respective teams.
Many former English cricketers have slammed Indian players and BCCI for giving priority to IPL besides the fifth test match. England was expecting the delayed start of the last match of the series but as BCCI has to start IPL from 19th the Indian board asked ECB to search for
another window for the match.

Delhi Capitals’ star players wicket-keeper batsman Rishabh Pant and off-spinner R Ashwin have arrived in Dubai this morning. Both were part of the test series against England. Other Delhi Capitals’ players including Ajinkya Rahane, Ishant Sharma, Axar Patel, Prithvi Shaw, and Umesh Yadav have also arrived.
All the players were tested on reaching the Dubai International Airport, Dubai. Since the Indian team is suspected to Covid-19 so all the players have to go through a tough six-day hard quarantine before joining the Delhi squad. Delhi Capitals franchise has officially announced this news.
The franchise tweeted that the Delhi Capitals players who were part of the Indian squad for the Test series against England landed in Dubai safely on Sunday, 12 September 2021 for the second half of the VIVO IPL 2021.

the league topper added that all the six players who have arrived from England have gone through the covid-19 test. The franchise also said that each player has to serve six days of hard quarantine before entering into the bio-bubble of the team.
Delhi Capitals is currently at the top of the league table with six wins and two losses in eight games they have played in the first phase. MS Dhoni-led Chennai Super Kings is in second place with 5 wins in 7 matches. They are followed by Indian Skipper Virat Kohli-led Royal Challengers Bangalore who has the same numbers as CSK.
The first match will be played between Mumbai Indians and Chennai Super Kings on the 19th of September 2021. Mumbai Skipper Rohit Sharma has already arrived in the city with other teammates and everyone is in quarantine.
