Chennai Super Kings Stunned Punjab Kings With Brilliant Bowling!

IPL is really an incredible premier league. Every day comes with a new exception. In match number 8, MS Dhoni’s CSK beat Punjab Kings in a one-sided match by 6 wickets. The match was played at Wankhede Stadium, Mumbai which is known for its big scores but as I said every day a new exception happens.

By the end of the first power play, Punjab made 26 runs and half of the team was in the pavilion. 

By a combined effort from Super Kings, Punjab scored 106 runs in their 20 overs by losing 8 wickets. From Punjab Kings, young batsman Shahrukh Khan looked comfortable as he made 47 runs. Chahar registered a figure of 4/13. Sam Curran, Bravo, and Moeen Ali got one wicket each.

He was the only batsman to score more than 20 runs. The target was short and CSK’s batsmen proved it a cakewalk. Chennai lost their first wicket on 24 when Ruturaj Gayakwad was sent back by Arshdeep Singh. But then Faf du Plessis and Moeen Ali set up a match-winning partnership before Murugan Ashwin sent Ali back on 91. Ali made a fabulous 46. Then Mohammad Shami from Punjab gave back-to-back shocks to CSK but it was very late. 

Faf and Curran took CSK to the target and win the match for Skipper Dhoni who was playing his 200th match for Chennai Franchise. Thala celebrated his 200th match with a victory. For his brilliant bowling, Deepak Chahar got the Man of the Match award.
