Injury Update: Denmark’s Christian Eriksen Is In Stable State In Hospital!

During a clash between Denmark and Finland in UEFA Euro 2020, Christian Eriksen, a player of Denmark got collapsed on the ground. The player was immediately taken to the hospital. The reports from the hospital are saying that his condition is stable now though he has to go through some more tests and scans. 

The match was held at Telia Parken Stadium situated in Copenhagen on Saturday. The incident happened during the 42nd minute of the game. While chasing the ball, the 29-year-old midfielder Eriksen falls down as the ball hits his knees. The match was stopped for 2 hours in the case of an emergency. Eriksen’s teammates rushed to him to save him and the match referee immediately announced a medical emergency. When the match restarted, Finland won it by 1-0. This was the first-ever win for the Finland football team in European Championships. 

The Football Association of Denmark has given the update regarding the health condition of Christian Eriksen that the footballer is conscious now and undergoing some more tests. Prayers have been made from throughout the world for the football player. Fans went to Twitter to wish Eriksen a speedy recovery.
