Team India Has Announced Final 11 For The WTC Final!!
Hold your breaths, the final of the World Test Championship is on the way. Earlier both India and New Zealand have announced their 15-member squad for the red ball final as per the International Cricket Council’s (ICC) rule. Now, the Indian team has shown their final XI for the most-awaited test match. Let’s have a look at the squad.
BCCI on Thursday announced a list of those eleven players who will play the historic final of the World Test Championship. Indian team has gone with 5 bowlers in a five-day match against New Zealand. As this match is going to test the best team in the longest format of the game, both teams will try to play their best XI.
The Indian squad is as follows. Rohit Sharma will open the innings with young Shubman Gill who is playing in England for the first time. They will be followed by Cheteswar Pujara and Skipper Virat Kohli. The whole test match will depend on how these two-player play. At number 4, India has Ajinkya Rahane who has good stats in tests at England. At number 5, men in blue have gone with superstar Rishabh Pant. He already has a century in England. At numbers 6 and 7, India has Ravindra Jadeja and Ravi Ashwin. These two all-rounders have a lot of jobs to do with both bat and ball. Then comes the tail. India has chosen Ishant Sharma, Jasprit Bumrah, and Mohammad Shami as pace leaders for the only test match.
