T-20 Cricket: Rishabh Pant Makes His Return To The T-20I Squad Against England
With no surprise, Wicket-keeper batsman Rishabh Pant has made his comeback in limited-overs cricket against mighty England. Pant’s place has been fixed in the squad due to his consistency in the red-ball cricket in India’s tour to Australia following by the home series against the Britishers.
Indian Management has shown trust in young talent in white-ball cricket
In the meeting held on yesterday, the Board For Control Of Cricket In India (BCCI) has made it clear that they are investing hugely in young lads. After a successful IPL season, wicket-keeper batsman Ishan Kishan, Batsman Surya Kumar Yadav, and all-rounder Rahul Tewatia have been called for their maiden white-ball series. Soon, they will be seen in the blue jersey of the Indian cricket team.
India has announced their 22 players squad for the five-match T-20i series against England. And it can be seen clearly that the team management has started their preparation for the T-20 World Cup, which is supposed to be held in India this year.
Pant was dropped from the white-ball squads last year after his failure with the bat and gloves. But the cheeky keeper has great test series in Australia, where he won a match for India. His consistency in test matches with the bat and gloves has assured his spot in the playing XI for the Indian team.
