India’s Eyes Will Be On Winning The T-20 Series As Well, First T-20 Against Sri Lanka Today!

After winning the one-day series by 2-1, Men In Blue is now heading toward the t-20 series which is going to start today. The Sri Lankan team will also want to bounce back in the shortest format of the game by forgetting the 50 overs series. Significantly, the Young Indian team which is not playing with main players like Virat Kohli, Rohit Sharma, Jasprit Bumrah has shown their character in the ODI series by beating the home team. 

Now, Shikhar and co will have eyes on clinching the t-20 series as well. It will be interesting to see how management and coach will choose the playing XI for the first t-20i starting from today. Players like Devdatt Paddikal, Rituraj Gayakwad, and Varun Chakravarthy haven’t got any chance in the one-day series. There are high chances that any of these will get to play in the T-20 series.

BCCI Hasn’t Informed About Shaw and Yadav’s Departure To England says, Shikhar Dhawan!

Opening Batsman Prithvi Shaw and Middle-order batsman Suryakumar Yadav have got the reward of their fantastic performance in the ODI series against Sri Lanka. The main Indian team who is in England currently requires two replacements as fast bowler Avesh Khan, and Off-spinner Washington Sundar has been injured and ruled out of the whole tour against England. 

BCCI in an official statement marked Shaw and Yadav as the replacement for Avesh and Sundar. The players will depart to England once the series against Sri Lanka will end.

Standby Skipper Shikhar Dhawan said in a virtual press conference on Saturday that the board hasn’t informed the management about the departure of Prithvi Shaw and

Suryakumar Yadav yet. Shubham Gil’s injury hasn’t been marked officially by BCCI. There are rumors that Devdatt Paddikal can depart to England as well. Till now there are no official statements regarding this.
