Venues that have been proposed by BCCI!!
The board for Control of Cricket in India (BCCI) is all ready to host the major tournament of the year. It has been tough for both ICC and BCCI to confirm the grounds where the matches will be played. According to the policies of ICC, the venues are to be selected before six months of the tournament initiation but as the Corona pandemic is still hanging on, the
board doesn’t want to take any risk.
BCCI had made a list of the venues which might remain permanent for the upcoming world cup. They are Ahmedabad, Mohali, Delhi, Kolkata, Chennai, Bengaluru, Mumbai, and Dharamsala.
The semi-finals are supposed to be held in Chennai and Bangalore. The final of the tournament will be played at the largest cricket stadium in the world which Narendra Modi Stadium, Ahmedabad.
But again, the venues are not confirmed yet.
