Mammoths In The History Of IPL, Highest Total By A Team!!

Indian Premier League has always entertained as biggies from every country come here to test their skills. Without a doubt, IPL holds the record of the highest total in T-20 cricket history. With great total comes great tons as well.

Teams That have made big totals!

First: Royal Challengers Bangalore

Having Christopher Henry Gayle on your side can cause huge destruction to the opposition. RCB with no doubt has achieved the highest ever total by a team in the 13 seasons of IPL. The team in red hit 263 runs in the given 20 overs against the Pune Sahara Warriors in the

2013 season of the Indian Premier League.

As I said earlier without great tons it is impossible to achieve a mammoth total. Chris Gayle was the man of that night who destroyed the Pune bowling attack unit with his fine 175 runs. He still holds the record of the highest individual total in IPL.

Second: Royal Challengers Bangalore

If you were looking for any other team then stop wasting your time. RCB has achieved the mammoths more than once. The second-highest total is also made by men in red. The team scored 248 runs against the Gujrat Lions in the 2016 season of IPL.

Thanks to Virat Kohli and Ab de Villers whose tons helped RCB to achieve the feat.

Third: Chennai Super Kings

“Whistle Podu express” is time for CSK fans to cheer a little. The third-highest total has made the men in yellow. MS Dhoni-led CSK made 246 runs against the Rajasthan Royals in the 2010 season of IPL. It remained the highest total for almost three years.
