Tennis Legend Roger Federer Has Only Praises For Novak Djokovic After He Won French Open!
Switzerland tennis player, Roger Federer has applauded Novak Djokovic after The Greek champion won the French Open for the second time. Federer who himself has 20 grand slams in his cart praised Djokovic for an epic comeback against Stefanos Tsitsipas in the finals. It is noteworthy that Novak was lagging behind initially but he made a drastic comeback and lifted the trophy at the clay court.
He also praised Djokovic for a fine semi-final against Rafael Nadal. He said in a post-match review that Djokovic’s comeback in the finals against Tsitsipas was outstanding. He added that even in the semi-final he outplayed Nadal. Well, the tennis star got stuck on a question. When he was asked to name that player among Nadal, Djokovic, and himself which will end his career with most grand slams, The Swiss player answered that it is difficult to pick one. It should be noted that Nadal and Federer both have 20 grand slams. Djokovic has 19 grand slams. In the end, Federer said that it depends on how long they all play.
Roger Federer was also part of the French open but the legend player pulled out his name due to an injury. He is currently playing in the Hall Open 2021 which is played on a grass court. It is for sure that the Swiss master is practicing for the next grand slam Wimbledon. He also registered his first win in a long time in the same tournament. The Swiss legend is currently at the 8th position.
