BCCI shares News On Day 3 Of Intra-Squad Match By Team India Ahead Of WTC Final!
The men in blue don’t want to leave any weakness before the Final of the World Test Championship. In this chain, the team has organized an intra-squad match of five days between two groups. It is noteworthy that BCCI has sent a squad of 24 members including four training bowlers. The Board Of Control For Cricket in India (BCCI) has shared a video of day three of that intra-squad match.
The players are looking in control to tackle the English conditions. On the one hand, batsmen are trying to tackle the swing conditions. In the final India has to face New Zealand and it is the same Kiwi team that troubled India in 2020’s India tour to New Zealand. Keeping this in mind, Indian batsmen including skipper Virat Kohli, Rohit Sharma, Chateswar Pujara, and Ajinkya Rahane are focusing more on the Kiwi pace attack. On the other hand, the Indian pace attack is gearing up for the final. They are practicing to gain control over duke ball which is used to play tests in England. This should be kept in mind that India has to play a test series against the home team England later after the WTC final.
Let’s talk about the third day of the intra-squad match. Ravindra Jadeja has come with a form on day three. He smashed 54 runs on 74 deliveries. In the bowling department, Mohammad Siraj has scappled 2 wickets on 22. BCCI has continuously followed the test match. On day 1, Ishant Sharma’s three wickets were the hot topic. On day 2, Rishabh Pant showed his class after he scored 121 runs in just 94 balls. Shubman Gill has also gained his form in the practice match after he scored 85 runs in 135 balls.
