RR VS SRH, Match 40 Highlights, IPL 2021, the sky was clear but a rain of sixes did come!

No matter the winner or loser, it was just magnificent, the way both of the teams put a show on the ground of Dubai International Cricket Stadium. Kudos! to the captains of the opposite teams, Kane Williamson (SRH) and Sanju Samson (RR), who exhibited the definition of good captains on the fields on the night of the 27th of September, 2021. 

As of the toss, contrary to the match, it was won by Rajasthan Royals and it elected to bat first. 

RR gave the target but SRH hit the bull’s eye!

The opening pair of this team was Evin Lewis and Yashasvi Jaiswal. Evin made 6 runs out of 4 balls and on the first ball of the first over he was caught out by Abdul Samad on the ball of Bhuvneshwar Kumar, yet Yashasvi thrilled the spectators in the stadium. He hit 5 fours and 1 six and managed to maintain the heat and beat of the runs. Yashasvi was bowled by Sandeep Sharma on the 4th ball of the 8th over.

Just after Evin Sanju Samson took command of one side of the strike. He helped his team score to grow rapidly. Sanju hit a total of 10 boundaries out of which 7 were fours and 3 were 6s and he scored 82 runs off 57 balls. Sanju sustained himself till the last over and got caught out by Jason Holder on the ball of Siddarth Kaul. 

Rajasthan gave a target of 164 runs.

Sunrisers shone in the night!

SRH has Williamson but the star of the match was Jason Roy who hit 60 runs over 42 balls including 8 fours and 1 six along with he also took the catch of Riyan Parag, yet the way he gathered all of the runs was impeccable. Seeing him play was like he knew about all of the weaknesses and secret spots about just where to hit the ball and muster runs. 

Kane Williamson did also play his role in taking his team to the title of winners of this match. He made his fifty off 41 balls and shot the winning four which led them to victory in just 18 overs. 

The player in the match was Jason Roy.

Jason Roy received so much praise and we know that he deserves it.
